Why have you blocked this page, preventing users from editing it? The current article on iOS 18 is incomplete, as many new features I had already written about months ago have been deleted by the administrator. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yettwiki (talkcontribs) 05:14, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why I Added iPhone 16 & 16 Plus and 16 Pro & 16 Pro Max

[edit]

It's important that this article page gets updated in advance since Apple Inc is going to officially introduce the next new future upcoming iPhone 16 electronic device mobile smartphone generation model collection series later this year in 2024 sometime in September later this year that will be coming in less than 2 months from now. 2600:1700:D510:5900:D005:EBB6:324F:FBD5 (talk) 01:35, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We will update it when it is officially announced. Thanks, House1090 (talk) 01:38, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, House1090, but September will be coming soon later this in year in 2024, and because Apple Inc, is expected to officially announced the next new future upcoming iPhone 16 mobile smartphone electronic device generation models collection series, which will arrive in less than 2 months from today, it's important that this Wikipedia article page is updated in advance before September rolls around, since iOS 18 will not only apply to current and older iPhone models but will also be fully compatible with the next new future upcoming Apple Inc iPhone smartphone electronic devices generation models collection series which will happen at a special technological conference event in September. 2600:1700:D510:5900:D005:EBB6:324F:FBD5 (talk) 02:26, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Again, if and when the new iPhone is announced, it will be updated here. Right now, this is all speculation. Please refrain from any further changes. House1090 (talk) 02:49, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The edit does not comply with the WP:CRYSTAL policy. Please keep it off until an announcement from a reliable source has been made. Bahooka (talk) 19:07, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but fall season in September is coming soon later this year in 2024, in less than 2 months from now, so it's important that this Wikipedia article page is updated and revised in advance to exactly accomadate the highly-anticipating next new future upcoming iPhone 16 mobile smartphone electronic device generation model collection series, which eventually Apple Inc., will announced at a special technological conference event in September, the following month after next month, subsequentially later this year in 2024. 2600:1700:D510:5900:2083:ABBD:33E4:8176 (talk) 20:32, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your reasoning is incorrect and against Wikipedia policy (WP:CRYSTAL). Please see earlier in this thread and stop edit warring. Bahooka (talk) 20:59, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I told you the same thing in this diff here I made on 11 June 2024.
But then starting from this diff, that was when you started to edit war.
That's when on 1 July 2024, I started questioning myself. That why were they adding them back, I knew that anyone shouldn't add an Apple product until it's released or Apple themselves acknowledges them. But didn't want to waste my time by removing them again. I knew that there were no citations that proved mentions of iPhone 16 and 16 Pro and didn't meet the WP:CRYSTAL policy.
I was actually going to ask the same thing on this talk page here, about why you've kept adding the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro under the list and why I disagreed with that being added back.
I know you've heard rumours for the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro by tech enthusiasts on social media. But here, Wikipedia is a place for facts. Not rumours. Plus, social media sites (it wasn't added) like X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Reddit, Facebook and YouTube are not reliable sources.
And I also know you were excited for the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro to come out and get ready for it by adding it in too early.
I've also noticed that I found a related draft on an iPhone 16 and 16 Pro here (16 Pro) and here (regular 16), seeing your other multiple IP address range via the list of contributions.
Since this IP user is now blocked for 3 years, until 10 July 2027, let's all hope that none of this stuff will happen ever again. PEPSI697 (talk) 07:17, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, having a look at the recent revisions from the recent days, looks like the IP did a block evasion and it happened again. PEPSI697 (talk) 09:12, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ios 18.2 beta name

[edit]

Under the release history section,the name of 18.2 beta should be 18.2 beta 1. 124.120.254.105 (talk) 10:19, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As I said in Talk:iPadOS 18 § Ipados 18.2 beta name, some people like the first beta to be "beta 1" and some just like it to be "beta". Guy Harris (talk) 18:38, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
