Oppose Gwen Stefani's entire solo discography was released under the name "Gwen Stefani" (not Gwen.) She is known in reliable secondary sources as Gwen Stefani, not mononymously. 162 etc. (talk) 00:22, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Comment One thing that did come up at the previous RM: This article probably should be merged, per WP:BANDMEMBER. It does not appear that Gwen has individual notability outside of Bini. 162 etc. (talk) 00:22, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Gwen Stefani is not known as just "Gwen" and in the unlikely event someone forgot her surname, they would more likely wind up at the Gwen dab page than here. A hatnote could be added to this article but even that is probably unnecessary. Station1 (talk) 06:42, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Filipino people of Chinese descent" category removed
So the "Spanish descent" one for Mikha should be removed too, then. But Chinese can be kept, IMO, because it's just common sense - her surname is Lim, a Chinese surname. Bloomagiliw (talk) 08:57, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If not, I fully understand the need to remove the categories. For what it's worth, I'm not the one who added the categories for either page, nor was I the one who removed the Chinese descent category for Gwen. :) I just thought if someone removed that for Gwen, the same should apply to the other "descent" category. Bloomagiliw (talk) 09:03, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure whether ChinoyTV is a reliable source, but it doesn't seem to be a blog or something similar, so I suppose it's fine. Since it's also a program broadcast on reputable domestic news channels, as Borgen said above, that likely adds to its credibility. AstrooKai (Talk) 09:11, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. The categories can be removed for Gwen (for now), while "Chinese descent" can be kept for Mikha. (The "Spanish descent" thing has no acceptable source, though, so I'll remove it.) Bloomagiliw (talk) 09:14, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
