2 sources at WP:CVG/M

[edit]

If anyone is interested in improving this for the GCOTW, User:Mitaphane has 2 sources available for use on this article from September 1998 and January 1999 editions of Next Generation Magazine. - hahnchen 18:57, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've contacted him. --Zeality 08:03, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update

[edit]

I don't expect to get this all the way to FA yet, mainly because of the plot section and designer credits. For Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, I played the entire game through and basically created a script of all dialogue from scratch which I later posted to Gamefaqs. GGA has far fewer lines, so it shouldn't be as difficult, but this is nonetheless a requirement of writing the best possible article for this game. Anyhow, things seem to be coming along fine, so I encourage any copyediting for the big sections I've finished. --Zeality 06:10, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

European name

[edit]

I think the correct name is Mystical Ninja 2 Starring Goemon. Links: [1] and [2] --Mika1h 17:38, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Instruction Manual

[edit]

I can't find scans, so if you've got it, try to add some citations for the gameplay section. Just sprinkle them here or there or add them after mention of unique gameplay. If push comes to shove, I have a Nintendo Power article that talks about gameplay at length, so that can be substituted. --Zeality 18:16, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Damn, Zeality, you are a machine! This article is looking great now! --PresN 22:47, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a ton. I realized while writing that I do use some little rules and tricks I've developed, so I'm going to go back and rewrite and add to Ryu_Kaze's guide and see if I help WP:CVG. --Zeality 00:42, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Screenshots

[edit]

The screenshots I'm going to take and use:

  • Gameplay: Impact stuff
  • Characters: scene from the interdimensional tea-house or something dramatic with Sasuke, Yae perferably
  • Plot: Bismaru taking the machine, Kabuki 64, Dochuki later on
  • Reception: Creep village, to illustrate Japanese themes --Zeality 23:21, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of humor

[edit]

For backing up the ending paragraph of the plot section, which will talk about the Goemon series's humor.

  • Ebisumaru wanting to meet his ancestor, James Dean.
