Formal request has been received to merge: Museum shop into Gift shop; dated: February 2023. Proposer's Rationale: A museum shop is just a type of gift shop, and not independently notable. A belated oppose. First, a brief skim of the sources reveal that museum shops very much meet criteria for a standlone article. Second, Gift shop has no sources, while Museum shop is well-sourced for a stub (asssuming good-faith on the offline sources). Oppose Adding on to Macrakis, the phenomenon of museums beginning to include shops as supplements to their revenue and the criticism to those practices are definitely independently notable. :3 F4U (they/it) 13:47, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
