Does the GeForce 2 MX400
[edit]Does the GeForce 2 MX400 support pixel shader 1.1? Sabrebattletank 04:15, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
No it does not. It has the same capabilities as the Geforce 256 and Geforce 2 chips. Please visit Beyond3D for more info. --Swaaye 19:57, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
Hardware Interface Specification
[edit]Is the GeForce2 AGP interface compliant with AGP 2.0? Looking at the Creative knowledgebase it appears that it is but there is a warning that older motherboards may not meet the full Intel specification by not supplying enough 3.3V current.
I have a geforce 2 mx 400 card and it's listed as an apg card on this site and my card is a Pci card with 64meg of ram.
Tables
[edit]I have added a table to this page giving an overview of the basic features of each of the Gefoce2 Cards Candle 86 14:20, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
RAM
[edit]The table should probably include range of onboard RAM available. My GeForce 2 Ultra had 64MB. --Mal 19:53, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Is GeForce 2 MX100 worth mentioning?
[edit]The article says that:
>Members of the series include GeForce 2 MX, MX400, MX200, and MX100
AFAIR, MX100 chip was announced by nVidia, but no videocard manufacturer has ever released products which actually used it, as it was regarded to be too slow even for a low-end market segment. Actually, the sole difference between MX100 and 200 was 32bit memory bus vs 64bit (Compare to MX200 vs MX - the only difference is 64bit memory bus vs 128bit). P h n (talk) 14:42, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
