Do they speak English in 'What'?

[edit]

Restored older version of the article since all sub-sequent versions were written in some horrible sort of Pidgin-Engrish.Kar98 (talk) 21:08, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Procedural objection to RMTR speedy move this is by definition not uncontroversial, since it requires swapping of primary topics. -- 70.51.200.135 (talk) 04:16, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In the novel the only name given to him is Rambo, not John Rambo like your article states. Rimbaud

Title

[edit]

What does the title mean in the context of the story? Thanks, Maikel (talk) 11:49, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Circadian Novel

[edit]

Is 'First Blood' a circadian novel? In case it is, that's a relevant aspect and it would be desirable to include it in the article. --2800:810:470:820C:606C:7A0F:A4C0:91CD (talk) 11:45, 14 July 2019 (UTC)JSmith[reply]

Maybe, and maybe not. Got a definition for "circadian novel"?Moriori (talk) 21:28, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
They are novels that fit all their action into one 24-hour period.
There is an interesting academic article here: A First Census of the Circadian or One-Day Novel - Journal of Narrative Theory — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2800:810:470:820C:606C:7A0F:A4C0:91CD (talk) 11:51, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
None of those who have read the novel can answer if the story takes place in 24 hours? 181.167.66.250 (talk) 12:10, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Иван Драго[reply]

Isn't Trautman a captain in the novel ?

Year of film is 1982 not 1972

[edit]

The year is wrong. 2A02:C7D:386:C800:25D3:3F79:89A3:E972 (talk) 17:54, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Translations

[edit]

Is there any information about how many translations of First Blood were actually made? There's definitely more than 26 now, since in 2022 the first Ukrainian translation was published. Spider Minstrel (talk) 18:13, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Much better story

[edit]
