"One of two remaining original stations"

[edit]

Hmm - is this correct? All of the stations north on this line appear to be original Victoria stations as well. Anyone got a citation for this comment? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattd (talkcontribs) 23:14, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is the buildings that are amongst the oldest. The other stations on the original section of the EH&LR have either been closed and demolished {e.g. Edgware) or rebuilt (e.g. East Finchley). The ones on the High Barnet branch are a few years younger.--DavidCane (talk) 16:15, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New Vaudeville Band

[edit]

I came to this page because I just listened to the 1966 New Vaudeville Band's song "Finchley Central". Maybe it deserves a reference to it? Gulliveig (talk) 04:01, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are there any reliable third-party sources which explicitly state that The New Vaudeville Band are referring to this station? --Redrose64 (talk) 21:23, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
