... that Dawntrail lays the foundation for the second decade of Final Fantasy XIV's service?
- Source: "This is something that we could only achieve thanks to (the story concluded in) Endwalker continuing for over 10 years. I would like to aim to achieve the same goal for the next 10 years." [1]

- The currently-proposed hook might not be easily understood by non-Final Fantasy fans and is also rather vague. Suggesting some possible alternatives below:
- ALT0a ... that the expansion pack Dawntrail is intended to lay the groundwork for another decade of Final Fantasy XIV's service?
- ALT1 ... that the expansion pack Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail was designed to be a "summer vacation" for the game's playable character?
- ALT2 ... that Tural, the setting of the expansion pack Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, is inspired by Latin America and Southeast Asia?

- Thanks for the alternative hooks! They're all great. Axem Titanium (talk) 15:56, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Striking the original hook, asking for a full review. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 03:07, 18 June 2024 (UTC)

- I am not sure if this is a fail because the article was (technically) created on May 7, but the article was hidden from view with the use of hidden comments until 7 june. I am not going to formally review this (yet) because I am new and idk how to deal with hooks like these. JuniperChill (talk) 09:41, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- I came from WT:DYK. I would be inclined to take this, given that the article wasn't really in public view at the time, and I don't really see the difference between this and userspace/draftspace. (Also, probably not a DYK issue, but my sister is an avid Final Fantasy player, and I have it on good authority that the pre-release for this comes out tomorrow, with a proper release on 2 July. If there is an RS for this, I think this should be added.)--Launchballer 11:22, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- I am giving it the green light now. Long enough, new enough (even though it was techinically created last month as I said earlier), no copyright problems, cited in the article, all good. Thank you Launchballer for this, now I learned something unusual.
I was literally about to fail this but good thing I asked. Video games are one topic I have interests in alongside railway and road transport so I may review those topics. JuniperChill (talk) 11:53, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
