Talk:Fatal Frame (video game)
September 11
[edit]September 11 is one of the dates mentioned in the game, specifically red tape 2, when they couldn't find the editor guy. Should this be included? --65.87.242.28 (talk) 18:38, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- It has noting to do with the 9/11, this is a japanese video game.

The "Real" Mansion
[edit]Everyones heard this before. I am a paranormal researcher and I have studied this case for a while. This is the first time I have gotten interested. As far as I can tell, the mansion does exist. It is open to tourists. and it does seem weird stuff happened there. Reasons records can't be found are because Japan was bombed in the 1940s. It most likely destroyed records. Interviews I have read suggest that the stuff still happens there and that a Himuro person owns the place. One of the things I found interesting in what a alleged Himuro decedent says is that the house is not haunted. I have found out that lots of tourist have found the place. One of the interesting things is there appears to be Himuro mansion that has a small resemblance to the game one (but probably isn't.) This is for what people should look for when researching this subject. This is what I have found.--VampireKen (talk) 02:17, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
- If you can find reliable third party sources that discuss this, then by all means, add it. AlessaGillespie (talk) 05:42, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Some one is editing wrong
[edit]I have seen that some one have added wrong information in Fatal frame 1, 2 and 3, adding a character that doesn't exist ("Tsukiko"), i have deleted this in all the pages, please don't do it again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.201.111.121 (talk) 07:56, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
False Mansion
[edit]Though Fatal Frame's english version states that it is based on a True Story, it is not. The japanese version NEVER stated it was a True Story. The possibility that the Himura Mansion exists is very low. There are no actual photos of the real mansion, nor is there an exact location. There are no recorded murders that were stated to have happened in the Mansion, either. People who say they are a himuro or say that they have visited are most likely liars. In the story, it states that ALL Himuro occupants were murdered. Also, Himuro is a VERY common name in Japan. All in all, the Mansion does not exist. The story was made up of several horror stories put together. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Scattereddream (talk • contribs) 05:17, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Reviews
[edit]I think we need to add a few more reviews for this game, considering that the second is considered an improvement it would help to get a good summary of the issues and thoughts of this game when it came out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.52.207.74 (talk) 17:43, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
