[edit]Salpeter has co-authored most papers published by his daughter Shelley Salpeter (Stanford). Surely worth a mention? JFW | T@lk 22:16, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Date of death in dispute.
[edit]Published death date may be incorrect, see this edit. I changed it to a more generic "November 2008." davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 22:28, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- Some reliable sources claim the date of death was November 25. Some say November 26. The editor who changed it to November 26 made a compelling but not conclusive case to me in private communication that the November 26 date is correct and that the November 25 date was due to the wrong date being given to certain members of the press. I accept this date in good faith. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 16:10, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
