This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the band has achieved considerable success in its own right. The project is also not solely Matt Berninger's and should not be redirected to his page. I will provide several references and work on this article to support this. --Egg_Creations (talk) 16:24, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you've got a better redirect target, feel free to propose it, but with the other member not having their own article, I don't know where else to redirect it, and with the article being extremely short and sourced only to a retail listing, it certainly can't exist like this... As the original article creator, to me your edit rationale for undoing the redirect doesn't hold water. You have to respect the AFD result regardless of your feelings on the topic. If you believe you have sources that show the subject now passes WP:GNG and WP:NBAND, you need to provide them first. -- ferret (talk) 17:13, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Ferret and Egg Creations: would it be worth Egg Creations building the article at WP:AFC/Draft space and then having it reviewed and moved if it passes muster? If so begin working at Draft:EL VY -- samtarwhisper
I agree with using Draft space. Build the article out and let AFC determine if GNG/NBAND is now met. This will prevent another potential AFD. -- ferret (talk) 17:19, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
