Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the band is notable due to its being a project of original Anthrax vocalist Neil Turbin and the band is in fact named after an Anthrax song 'Deathrider' off their album 'Fistful of MEtal.' Te band have performed at large music festivals and toured all over the world, more infoa nd references are to be added. — Verityinv (talk) 22:39, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
- Notability is not inherited from others. They have to do it on their own, by making official albums, score singles in the hitparade or do some really special. But "being the band of ..." is not enough to qualify. Night of the Big Wind talk 06:09, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]There are multiple wikipedia articles which link to this page or name 'DeathRiders' and should be linked to this page including: Fistful of Metal, Kurt James, Neil Turbin, Anthrax (American band), Rocklahoma, Sweden Rock Festival, Monterrey Metal Fest,
This should help establish the topic of 'DeathRiders' as notable, as well as the information and references that have been since added to the article since the notability of the subject was questioned. Such info as the fact that DeathRiders appeared on a 2009 DVD released by Hellion Records also helps to establish this, the article is by no means complete but the topic should be established as notable enough not to get deleted, redirected or merged before it has a change to get to such a stage.
