DeathRiders is an American heavy metal band based in Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2001 to support lead vocalist Neil Turbin's solo album Threatcon Delta[1] and is named after Neil's song lyric "Deathrider" which was the first song on the album 'Fistful of Metal' which Turbin[2] wrote in his time as the lead singer of Anthrax.[3]
The 2013 NAMM Convention was held in Anaheim, California, between January 24 and 27. NAMM Metal Jam launched the festivities the night before, on January 23, at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood. The concert, co-organized by Anthrax vocalist Neil Turbin of DeathRiders and GuitarWorld.com's Dave Reffett, featured Turbin’s band as a co-headliner.[4]
