The article contains links and interviews from credible third parties such as NPR, The new york times, Wired, and fox news. Furthermore, she has been awarded several prestigious grants from the MacArthur foundation. She has also been published in several peer reviewed Journals (including the "Journal of Science, Education and technology", "Educational technology" and the "International journal of learning and media") and has contributed to several books.
