Talk:Command & Conquer (cancelled video game)
Untitled
[edit]- Totally for it, the video game Generals 2 has been adapted for a free to play game with a different name. Official Command & Conquer series site does not list Generals 2 in the games section anymore, its just Command & Conquer. - Additionally, the history of the game when it was Generals 2 can be covered in the Command & Conquer (2013 video game) article; Generals 2 does not need its own article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.48.200.44 (talk) 15:48, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Reference 2 is talking about releasing next year! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.19.20.58 (talk) 13:38, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
Release Date
[edit]Hold on for a second, It is already October 2013 and the Release Date shouldn't display Fall 2013 or Q3 2013. Can anybody gather some info about it? Thank you. --(B)~(ー.ー)~(Z) (talk) 19:03, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
Game is (thankfully) Dead

- You might have misread. The game is very much alive. Maybe the beta forked away from the alpha version and is free to play so alpha players got a refund. Quote: "we have already begun looking at a number of alternatives to get the game back on track". I lol'd at the videos on the website that do nothing but repeat the message in any possible way that you can build bases again and it feels like c&c again. Trying so hard to recover the franchise from the epic fail of c&c 4. PizzaMan (talk) 07:16, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. Other sources do not care to be this vague as the official source. But school students and ES/FL students both learn one thing early: In English, people say a lot of blah, blah, blah to avoid saying two things straightforward: "No!" and "We're doomed!" But Wikipedia's founding policy mandates avoiding such assumption. Still, writing an encyclopedia requires a lot of patience anyway; we can wait and see.

- Reason game cancelled was because it was called the European Union. If it were called something like the ER (European Republic), it wouldn't have been cancelled. Even though, they used the word soviet in previous games. This game should maybe have been called command and conquer 4 or something. The reason why the word soviet can be used but not the EU in games is because EU means a number of countries, not just one country and trademark issues will come to rise such as economic trademarks because they control allot of manufacturing plants such as steel, and is regarded as a namebrand almost. It would have to be named C&C 4: Zerohour Alpha or something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.255.25.193 (talk) 14:34, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
C&C Development Continues under a Different Developer

- Hi. I don't think they are talking about the subject of this article. You see, if they make a, say, C&C5: Tiberium Suprise or C&C Red Alert 5: Alien Invasion or something, that'd still be C&C resurrected. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 15:37, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
- With the ongoing situation of the Islamist groups appearing in the Middle East and the Sino-American Relations happening this way, dont doubt the Game will be relaunched with a Different Setting. Listen to my words, soon we will see the game including Russia or whatever related to current warfare.Mr.User200 (talk) 15:23, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
