Contradiction

[edit]

This article contradicts the Magic Jewelry article. According to the top article, Columns was in 1989 while claiming Magic Jewelry was Column's predecessor. However, the Magic Jewelry article states that it was made in 1990, a year after Columns -- TheDarkArchon 04:05, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Columns game proper (as created by Jay Geertsen for X Windows and ported to MS-DOS by Nathan Meyers) is from 1989. The Sega version was released 1990-06-30, as stated in the sidebar. It is therefore entirely possible that Magic Jewelry was released before Sega Columns. -- 213.47.127.75 09:01, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Columns.jpeg

[edit]

Image:Columns.jpeg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

What happened to Columns 2?

[edit]

Topic, was there ever a Columns 2? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.124.190 (talk) 11:06, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Arcade only, though. It's full name is "Columns II: The Voyage Through Time". AdamantBMage (talk) 07:32, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody's given that an article, how about doing an article about it? Digifiend (talk) 12:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Digital Eel's Big Box of Blox?

[edit]

Digital Eel's Big Box of Blox is a Columns clone with some twists (that can be toggled), unsure how remarkable it is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.173.12.68 (talk) 13:10, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
