I don't quite know what your asking but I'm going to guess you are asking what I think should be done so the article can get a higher class rating. This article needs a lot of cleaning up and a lot of references, especially the What is a Fraternity section(this section also has a big WP:NPOV problem. The lead also needs to be cleaned up as per WP:LEAD. Just a few things to give guidence, WP:NOT, WP:NPOV, WP:WIAGA, WP:CITE. Hope that somewhat answers your question. When making claims in actual numbers, I think it best to only count full chapters and states in which they reside on this page.

Mu Omicron Gamma

Is Mu Omicron Gamma a national Christian fraternity? If not, it should not be included (after all, we don't have a list of every single local Christian fraternity out there, and there are a lot of those). Diezba 20:23, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

I would like to propose that this article focus on the reasons for Christians forming fraternities, highlight the national fraternities (specifying that they are national fraternities), and only provide a list local fraternities unless they have historic significance (note: I believe Beta Sigma Theta is a local Christian fraternity that is missing from this page). The article needs to be tightened drastically, focusing the History section on Early Christian Fraternities, The Texas Movement, and The Second Wave of Christian Fraternities. Subcategories of one or two paragraphs should be merged with the main category. In addition, the list of national (or local) fraternities needs to allow for specifying if there is a denominational focus (like Methodist, Baptist) Rasamassen (talk) 06:37, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

The page states Christian fraternites, national or otherwise. I personally believe this should only be ones for men. The co-ed ones seem out of place.

To your question. Greekpages.com states the following :

Chapters

• Alpha (True) - Old Dominion University
• Beta (Blood Bought) - Hampton University
• Gamma - Norfolk State University

Perhaps the best thing is to make this a sole page for Fraternities for men and create a Christian greek life. It would seem that each of the historic big four : STE,AGO,BYX,and KYX have corresponding sister sororities in KPhi, ADX, Sigma Phi Lambda, Sigma Alpha Omega, Theta Alpha. These groups in particluar seem to reach the same audience.

I agree with Keylay31 on repeating this question. This article needs some standards for its information. I am personally a Beta Sig, and I can note us as an historically important Christian fraternity with a sister sorority (Phi Beta Chi), being among the first Christian fraternities in the nation (second by two months to STE), and the first and only Christian fraternity in NIC, not to mention the first small fraternity in NIC. I have yet to add these facts to this article because I feel extremely biased and am having a hard time figuring out how to enter this information in a non-biased way in addition to how they fit into the picture this article is attempting to draw, but I think it's important that standards for this article be created. If anyone would like to work with me in incorporating Beta Sig's legacy into this article, I would be much obliged. Rasamassen (talk) 06:18, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

I think that if you going to question those with only one chapter, you should not only question MOG, but Phi Alpha Kappa, Phi Kappa Chi, and Mu Pi Phi as well. It seems to me that there should be a universal judging stick. (and according to the site, MOG now has 3 chapters?) Keylay31^hablame 19:57, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Also, when referring to MOG, we must distinguish between Men Of God and Mu Omicron Gamma. "The Greek letters "Mu-Omicron-Gamma" represent the letters "M-O-G" which acronymize Men of God. Although, the brothers of Mu Omicron Gamma Christian Fraternity sometimes refer to the fraternity as M.O.G., is it not to be confused with Men of God1 Christian Fraternity which is a completely different organization." Addition of Omega Psi Phi fraternity?

Given the statement on http://www.omegapsiphifraternity.org/mofaq.asp Q. What is the position of the Fraternity for Non-Christians who make application to become members of Omega Psi Phi?

A. Omega does not have an open admissions policy. It is a privilege to become a member of Omega Psi Phi and the Brotherhood is based on men who espouse Christian education and beliefs.
