The result of the move request was: not moved. Consensus against moving; no consensus on whether the topic is notable enough for a standalone article, and editors interested in exploring that topic are encouraged to open a merge request or an AfD. Oppose rename and oppose merge. She is notable only for the credentials scandal, and therefore the article should not be written like a WP:BLP or be renamed to Cho Min. The Early years and Research in genetics and other academic achievements sections should be removed and they are undercited/lack any citations. However, the scandal itself is absolutely significant enough to warrant a separate article, and the scandal played an important role in the resignation of Cho Kuk, and the defeat of Moon Jae-in's Democratic Party, and the rise of Yoon Suk-yeol. :3 F4U (talk) 13:59, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Chung and Hwang meet Wikipedia guidelines on notability for things outside of their individual scandals and have their own articles. Cho is not. See WP:CRIME for guidelines on this. The article being tagged with the BLP policy has nothing to do with whether or not it should be written like a biography. BLP applies to all articles where the subject matter includes living persons. :3 F4U (they/it) 23:42, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
