Detail of a Han warp-patterned silk brocade (经锦) excavated in Niya (Tarim Basin). The characters on it say: "Five stars come out of east, which is auspicious to China."

The original picture (right) is lovely, but warp-pattterned silk brocade is not embroidery. Do we have an actual image of Chinese embroidery? Will look for one... - PKM (talk) 18:24, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
