Some new stuff from a Japanese magazine: http://niko.mirror.waffleimages.com/files/1d/1d21ffe1d4472a91565dd32fbbe44b89445aa70c.jpg http://ft.mirror.waffleimages.com/files/c5/c5543455ff7993bdd1ec0cad505ccbc9b3053296.jpg Apparently, those old screenshots were real. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.90.180.81 (talk) 18:25, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nintendo Power Preview

[edit]

In the July 2008 issue of Nintendo Power, they said the game was set for U.S. release in Fall 2008. Thor231 (talk) 14:43, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HELP ME!

[edit]

Release date for Castlevania Order Of Ecclesia is.

October 23, 2008 for Japan, what about for NA/US? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.69.178.22 (talk) 08:03, 26 July 2008 (UTC) October 21st, 2008 for the USA, according to GameFAQs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.188.178.13 (talk) 15:18, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Needs a spoiler warning before the plot

[edit]

Or it could just use a revision so it doesn't give out the spoilers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.24.159.186 (talk) 03:30, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree; you ruined the game for me you bastards! 129.173.240.70 (talk) 21:08, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't read the plot section in detail. - A Link to the Past (talk) 21:13, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Music/Audio/Soundtrack section

[edit]

There should be one; there's a two-disc OST, "Akumajo Dracula The Stolen Seal Original Soundtrack", and apparently some rare preorder promo disc that's only a few tracks ("Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia Soundtrack"). 99.227.248.12 (talk) 23:05, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reception section

[edit]

The Reception section is terribly out-of-date. It only discusses what one person thought of it, and focuses almost entirely on a post-release preview. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 08:24, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moriemon

[edit]

Who is "Moriemon"? Is this just a nick name or is a last name? We should get the director's actual full name. --Harizotoh9 (talk) 10:06, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's Akihiro Minakata. The Japanese credits list him as A. Minakata, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:242:4002:E220:E850:A0D6:1713:E44B (talk) 05:34, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal: Merge Shanoa into this article

[edit]

While there's plenty of reception, all the information on the characters' appearance and whatnot is sufficiently covered by this article too, and there's not enough stand alone reception for her role in Castlevania Judgement to warrant it by itself. The article in question hasn't seen any actual improvement since 2008 either which is admittedly surprising when I ran across it. Said reception should bulk up this article's own section somewhat.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 01:42, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. The article did not actually exist as a standalone page until 2019, it was always a redirect before that. It only really has one good source, a writeup published by The Mary Sue. While the article's reception indicates that substantial commentary on the character does exist, it does not reflect any kind of wider impact the character has, even within the Castlevania series. Some commentators have mentioned a resemblance between her and the protagonist of the Bloodstained series since they share the same creative mind, but that's about it. No academically-inclined sources that critically analyze female characters in video games, of which there are many that have emerged during the 2010s, have discussed her from what I could find from a cursory search. By the way, a List of Castlevania characters article actually exists. Shanoa itself should be redirected there, with the relevant reception info from the article distributed between the receptions for Order of Ecclesia and Judgement.
