Sequels
[edit]The Payoff isn't, as far as I know, so much a sequel as an expansion. I'll change the section appropriately. Regarding The Last Supper, I've a sneaking suspicion that it was released as a magazine coverdisk but I'll look into it before making any changes. I'm also going to remove a small spoiler in the Last Supper section. Zagrebo 13:00, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- I've done some research and it seems that The Last Supper was a coverdisk and was published with Zero magazine. It was written by "The Soldiers of Hell" who might have been a demo group or might have had conventional links to the Bitmaps. I'll look into it. - Zagrebo 10:15, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
boss monster
[edit]Was just seeing this article again, and I'm wondering about the following passage "The third level contains a true boss monster to fight; there are none such in the first game.". I have some faint memories about two bosses in the first game: A giant dragon in the very first level, and Dionisos himself in the fifth level - but I can't remember the mentioned "boss monster" from the third level in "The Payoff" at all, so don't want to just remove the passage.. anyone remembers more? --Allefant 03:39, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- The dragon was definitely at the end of the first level in the original Cadaver, I remember the fire-breating swine well. Maybe the use of the term "true boss" is a clue, suggesting that it was "proper" dodging-and-firing x-number-of-hits-kills-it arcade stuff rather than puzzle-solving as in the original Cadaver. I'll try and do some research and see if I can fix it. Zagrebo 11:43, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- I looked through all the screenshots on the second link, and there is a picture of him, and in the walkthrough he's called the guardian - so I updated with that info. --Allefant 02:18, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Cadaver s6.png
[edit]Image:Cadaver s6.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

unverified claims by IP address
[edit]I just moved the quote below from the article to here, as I'm quite sure it's not true (Cadaver uses no textures or weapon models and I don't see how new characters make sense as there is only one, and frame rate also is completely irrelevant as it's a puzzle game) - but if someone finds a reference for it, feel free to move it back.
The Bitmap Brothers are currently working in connection with developers Rare to bring Cadaver to the Xbox Live Arcade platform. The new game will cost 800 Microsoft Points from the Xbox Live Marketplace. The new remake will be true to the original but with high-resolution textures, new weopon models, new characters and a faster framerate. The downloadable version of the new remake will be available Summer 2008.
