- . Interesting to a broad audience, new enough, and long enough. I prefer ALT1 but either hook is fine (up to promoter). AGF due to non-English source. No significant copyvios detected [1] and QPQ done. Ganbaruby, interesting article and it is G2G!. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 00:39, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
Pinyin for 滷
[edit]In the Etymology section, the pinyin for 滷 in 滷肉飯 is shown as "lǔ" (3rd tone), but in the infobox it's listed as "lù" (4th tone). Which is correct? Phlar (talk) 03:26, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Phlar: It's supposed to be third tone. Thanks for catching my mistake! ◢ Ganbaruby! (talk to me) 05:17, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

Khòng-bah-pn̄g → Braised pork rice – Was moved in 2021 without discussion. Clear violation of WP:COMMONNAME and WP:USEENGLISH, virtually no usage of the current name in English-language sources. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 11:03, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. The English-language form is the clear common name for the purposes of English Wikipedia. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 17:34, 15 December 2024 (UTC)

Comment: I agree that the current title should be changed because it doesn't seem to be used in English-language sources, but I'm not certain that 'braised pork rice' is the right name. When I google 'braised pork rice', many of the hits I see are for Ló͘-bah-pn̄g, not Khòng-bah-pn̄g, which is the topic this current page. I suspect that the English term 'braised pork rice' is used for both dishes, similar to the way the Chinese term 滷肉飯 is used for both 肉臊饭 and 炕肉飯, as demonstrated on the disambiguation page for 滷肉飯 on Chinese Wikipedia.
