Bickley Station Fire
[edit]In the mid 1980's Bickley Station (the booking office and foyer including bike racks and paper shop) was set ablaze by a female reported to be a psychiatric patient. Not easy to find any records of this event which saw the station building out of action for a period of time and the bookstall (newspapers and magazines - known as Bickley Bookstall and owned and run by Jim and Sheila Lodge) relocated to the goods yard on the left of the station for several months (?). 37.25.47.145 (talk) 23:17, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
