Crappy website
[edit]Maybe someone should mention that the game has the most misinformed website in the world. And yes it's also very very very slow. An example is: The armament on the Yamato class is according to www.battlestations.net this: 12x 14 inch guns, 16x 16 inch guns, 8x 5 inch guns, 37x AA guns. Which is just plainly funny. -- cKaL

Map Names, etc
[edit]I hope no-one minds but i have added the names of all the singleplayer campaigns and multiplayer maps, and where possible, links to internal wikipedia articles to help learn a bit more about the game they are playing.--Baston1975 15:47, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've actually cleared up a heck of a lot of things this morning. It looks like this article was, initially, heavy based upon notes from the demo. Now that the full version has been out this needed attention. Thanks :)--Baston1975 08:31, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Should the article highlight the many bug's Battlestaions has on both the microsoft and 360 games?
Fair use rationale for Image:BattlestationsXbox.JPG
[edit]Image:BattlestationsXbox.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Gato-class
[edit]I have NOT seen the Gato-class anywhere in the game. It also doesn't show up in the Ship Identification system either, so why is it still there? --72.12.139.231 02:15, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
The Whole Article >.>
[edit]This article is in shambles. People are adding false content and constantly reverting it. The gameplay section stinks, and it provides little to no information regarding the ability to constantly switch between units, making it the hybrid of sea, air, and underwater combat it is. The article is merely a massive list of ships, planes, subs, and missions. It doesn't show how it interacts. As the primary author of the StrategyWiki guide for the same game, I feel that this article is going to need an almost-complete rewrite. >.> --72.12.139.231 (talk) 03:37, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, but give it time. What seems to be a "shambles" in Wikpedia land is really article development. You could request more editors. I have started by changing the "peculiar" statement at the top, as the game is clearly very similar to the Battlefield series where you can be the commander, or some of the FPS shooters where you can switch between individual units. Some of the Tom Clancy games for example. DJ Barney (talk) 18:29, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
No Map Editor / Lack of Content
[edit]The article should say something about the extreme lack of content in the game.
This game is nice in how you can control 1 unit and command a bunch of units, but there's very little maps/scenarios and no map editor. This gives the game a retail value of $2.00+tax compared to games with map editors. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tank 7 (talk • contribs) 22:24, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
