Okay, lets see what we can do here.

  • "He is the main antagonist[...], a prominent character[...], and has made appearances" - false paralellism; you drop the verb from the second part as if they're all going to be "is", but then throw a verb in the third bit, which makes the reader stumble when reading. Should just be "He is the main antagonist[...] and a prominent character[...], and has made appearances"
  • The lead calls Roberto Ferrari an Italian artist, but then Creation doesn't
  • "was closest to his original design compared to the one shown in Kingsglaive" - "closer", since you're only comparing two things
  • "Ardyn was one of the characters who overlapped between the different parts of the Final Fantasy XV Universe" - I'm not sure what this means; also, it should probably be "is" one of the characters
  • "Ardyn was considered for dedicated downloadable content (DLC) due to positive fan feedback" - since they made it, no need to refer to it being "considered"
  • "Planning for the DLC release "Episode Ardyn" originated with the development of Episode Ardyn Prologue" - not sure how planning can "originate" with developing an ONA; I think this needs rewording
  • "According to its lead staff, the aim was to show more emotion in Ardyn, while his gameplay featured greater freedom" - Unclear if the staff/emotion refers to the ONA or the DLC
  • "His gameplay was also designed to show his cruelty, though some considered actions were dropped so as to preserve the game's CERO rating" - how did his gameplay (as opposed to the plot) show his cruelty, and what got dropped?
  • "De Paul was used to portraying deeper-voiced characters, leading to him almost not auditioning" - you do a lot of "ing" verb tenses that could be cleaner, e.g. "De Paul was used to portraying deeper-voiced characters, and almost did not audition."
  • "In reality he is Ardyn Lucis Caelum" - reads like he's not actually the chancellor, but it's just that he used to have a different name in the past. This ties into the next paragraph, which you start as "in the present day", but you never actually said the healer/starscourge stuff was in the past.
  • "Ardyn reveals his nature by fatally wounding [...] then harassing Noctis first by tricking him [...], and revealing the truth" - "Ardyn reveals his nature by fatally wounding [...], and then afterwards harasses Noctis, tricking him [...] and revealing the truth"
  • "he learns something of his intended role" - intended by who?
  • "Ardyn was added as a playable character to two current titles in the Dissidia subseries." - which two? If you mean the titles you talk about in the rest of this paragraph, then this sentence is superfluous
  • "as part of a collaboration with the mobile game" - "collaboration" is an odd word to use for a game made by the same company in the same metaseries
  • "RPGamer commented while the game lacked an outstanding supporting character, Ardyn was an exception due to his mysterious characterization, developing into a "creepy" villain as the story progressed." - "RPGamer said that the game", not "commented while", but also this sentence is confusing- what is he the exception to? If the game lacks "an" outstanding supporting character but has one then he's a negation, not an exception, and if it's "any supporting characters" but he is one, then it also doesn't make sense to say that.
  • References with ALLCAPS (like #4) should be fixed
  • Consider adding trans-title to Japanese refs, and changing the |title=whatever to be |script-title=ja:whatever
  • What page numbers is ref #5 citing?
  • The way you're citing youtube videos in "cite AV media" is all over the place; I recommend having publisher=Square Enix and via=YouTube - Square Enix (or whoever) is the one publishing the video, not the author of it, and Youtube is just the site that you're viewing it on
  • I don't think that Final Fantasy Union is an RS

That's it, let me know if you have any questions! --PresN 20:25, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@PresN: Did my best with everything in the prose. Also removed FFUnion, and re the FF Ultmania thing double-checked and corrected a massive gaff about the information. Did find legitimate and interesting information, plus its source and page number (translation here at the bottom of the page). Ref coding stuff I'll tackle tomorrow. --ProtoDrake (talk) 21:50, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@PresN: I've done my best with the refs. --ProtoDrake (talk) 10:13, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, passing! --PresN 15:51, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
