Alternate coloring

I don't understand the following sentence:

"Its [uniform] truncated form can have alternate colored square faces."

The uniform truncated apeirogonal prism has triangle & octagon (& apeirogon) faces;

the uniform rectified apeirogonal prism has triangle & square (& apeirogon) faces; haven't they?

Does the considered sentence mean:

"As a truncated form (of the regular apeirogonal hosohedron), the [uniform] apeirogonal prism can have alternately colored square faces."?

It can, but i can't see why being a truncated form would enable having alternately colored faces.

If anyone has an opinion on the considered sentence... Please, let me know! :-)

I agree that it is incorrect, for the reason you give. It appears to be original research by an editor here, who knows what they thought they meant. This is not the only statement which appears to be original research and I think it best if all such dubious remarks get deleted. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 10:05, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Now I have made some changes. Any better? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 10:13, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your multiple answers & changes, it is much clearer now! :-)
