Stig of the Dump
[edit]Angel road makes an appearance on Stig of the Dump (1981), when Barney and Lou are travelling home with their Gran at the end of their adventures and find that Stig is working on a scrap metal yard, situated alongside Angel Road station. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.218.38.146 (talk) 00:16, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- This could be worth mentioning in the article, but only if it can be verified by an outside source. Was it mentioned in any newspapers or magazines of the period? --Redrose64 (talk) 11:47, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
"Only a handful"
[edit]I have changed "only served by a handful of trains to and from Stratford" to "served by 10 trains each weekday to and from Stratford". Ten is hardly "a handful" - nobody would say that Eurostar runs "a handful of trains from London to Brussels", or that Elgin or Aberystwyth stations are "only served by a handful of trains", but all of those see fewer trains per day than Angel Road. Ten trains a day in each direction only seems low in comparison to the London commuter stations with metro-style service every few minutes. 188.31.75.164 (talk) 15:53, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Meriden Water railway station
[edit]I recommend a new article be made for the new Meriden Water station to be opened in 2019 replacing Angel Road station.Steamybrian2 (talk) 17:15, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
- If you think the subjects are sufficiently distinct, sure. But aren't they something like 100yds apart? Given it's a direct replacement I'd be tempted to treat it as a resiting. -mattbuck (Talk) 19:47, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
