  • Support This makes sense. Tradediatalk 20:44, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support merging both articles two subjects are essentially the same, but the title should represent the person rather than using the term "The science and research girl." Hogo-2020 (talk) 07:19, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support -- i tried to incorporate the references and interesting texts from the "girl" article into the "Ahoo Daryaei" article. Because most sources in Persian don't use the name "Ahoo Daryaei", I rephrased everything to avoid as much as possible this name. However, most news articles over the world speak about this girl with this name, so I favour that the article should still be called "Ahoo Daryaei" for now, and possibly rename it afterwards if another name pops up. Which news sources are these? Mooonswimmer 13:24, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Her real name is not yet declared by Iranian officials. --Doostdar (talk) 21:40, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well yes but this is the same person nonetheless that is described! Would you rather merge both articles to «The science and research girl»? The article is already written to emphasize that we don't know if Ahoo is her real name. Nucleos (talk) 22:30, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Should we really be using an unconfirmed name? We don't have many reliable sources using her name. On November 5, Reuters reported "She said that the young woman, named as Ahoo Daryaei on social media, had been transferred from a police station to a treatment centre, but did not say what treatment she would receive. Reuters could not identify the young woman independently." Mooonswimmer 13:29, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support merging to the science and research girl, with renaming discussions to follow. We have two articles on the same subject. The other article is older, therefore, we merge there. It shouldn't be controversial. What to name the article is a secondary question. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 23:14, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
