Sources have somewhat conflicting information on the total number of injuries that occurred. ABC News claims a total of 38 injuries, including 23 transported to the hospital. Block Club Chicago claims 38 people on the train, but only 23 injured and the remaining 15 refused medical attention. Chicago Sun Times claims simply 38 injuries. CBS News claims 38 were "hurt," and 23 sent to hospitals.
The majority of sources seem to claim 38 injuries including 23 hospitalizations, and I propose we change the article to reflect this; however, I wanted to propose it in discussion first as it is an important statistic to get right. Xenryjake (talk) 00:26, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
