The result of the move request was: Moved to 2023 Banda Aceh anti-Rohingya protest. While there is concurrence to move to the proposed title, what Extraordinary Writ raised should not be overlooked. – robertsky (talk) 09:24, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
2023 Anti Rohingya Protest → Banda Aceh anti-Rohingya protest – I believe this title is more appropriate per WP:NCWWW. In addition, the current title goes against WP:NCCAPS. CJ-Moki (talk) 01:43, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Can't agree more Asphonixm (talk) 04:38, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Move: More specific title.

- I'd support 2023 Banda Aceh anti-Rohingya protest, which follows WP:NCWWW's recommendation to include the "when". (I don't see any evidence that the WP:NOYEAR exception would apply.) Otherwise, I agree with specifying the location and fixing the capitalization mistakes. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 08:26, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Inclusion of Munandar's Drug Conviction
[edit]I was wondering if I could get a second opinion on the inclusion of the information mentioned above. It can be found under Investigation and reads: "Munandar was also revealed to be a former drug convict who was sentenced to two years in prison in September 2022 due to consuming methamphetamine, and added that he had been legally released."
This is tangentially related to the article, but I think it might be outside its scope. There doesn't seem to be any evidence that this case played a part in the protest and Munandar outright denies a connection. Considering how this might shape readers' views of the protests despite it having no impact on the protest, should this be included? If so, I'd like to add a sentence saying that he denied any connection. Thanks! :) Ze0n (talk) 06:03, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
