Maulana Jamshed Ali Khan
[edit]Maulana Jamshed Ali Khan (مولانا جمشید علی خان) was a Pakistani religious scholar, a Sheikh-ul-Hadith, preacher, deputy Amir of a missionary group, and former administrator of the Arab seminary in Raiwind.[1]

Maulana Jamshed spent a period under the guidance of Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi. He graduated from Miftah Ul Uloom Jalalabad, the academy of Maulana Massehullah Khan Sherwani, a disciple of Hakeem Ul Ummat. In 1950, seeking further religious education, he attended Dar Ul Uloom Deoband, where he completed his Dora Hadees.[2]
In Deoband, he had the opportunity to benefit from personalities like Maulana Hussain Ahmed Madani, Maulana Izaz Ali Amrohi, Muhammad Ibrahim Bulyawi, Maulana Abdul Ahad Deobandi and Maulana Bashir Gulothii in terms of both scholarly and spiritual atmosphere.[2]
Death
[edit]On November 3, 2014, in Lahore, Maulana Jamshed Ali Khan passed away at the age of approximately 85 due to a cerebral artery issue after a brief illness. His funeral prayer was led by his son and successor, Maulana Muhammad Khurshid Khan, at the Tablighi Jamaat's congregation ground. Subsequently, he was buried in the graveyard of the Tablighi Markaz in Raiwind.[1]
