Kyle Matthews (born May 26, 1982) is an American entrepreneur, founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate services company headquartered in Nashville, TN.[1][2] The company is one of the largest privately-held brokerages in the United States, with more than 1,000 employees nationwide.[2]
Early Life and Education
[edit]Kyle Matthews was born in Southern California to Clay Matthews Jr. and Leslie Matthews. Matthews is a member of the Matthews family, a prominent family in American football.[3]
He graduated from Westlake High School in 2000, and completed his education at University of Southern California, where he played football and studied International Relations and Affairs.
Early Career
[edit]Matthews began his career in real estate as an associate at Marcus & Millichap, where he gained significant experience in investment sales. He then left Marcus & Millichap in 2012 and went to work at Colliers International as an Executive Vice President, Retail Investments.[4]
He is involved in the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and is on the Board of Directors of University of Southern California Lusk Center for Real Estate.
Personal Life
