Articles with the shortest titles

When has #Articles with the shortest titles last been checked? The list of UNICODE characters with articles seems to be very incomplete. Ę and Ę́ were the first example I found, but I'm sure there are many more that are missing. Isn't there a way to search specifically for such titles? If there is, maybe we can link to that? Longest known time under a temporary block without changes to block settings

Longest known time under a temporary block without changes to block settings:^{[Unconfirmed]} 213.251.128.0/18 (9 years, 10 months, and 10 days as of 2 June 2024)

I don't understand that entry, for two reasons. Firstly, what does "without changes to block settings" mean? 213.251.128.0/18 has been globally blocked four times (the last two times being on 1 February 2024 and 14 July 2018), in addition to their four local blocks. They are currently globally blocked until 2026. How does that not count as a change to their block settings?

Secondly, apart from the problem that this IP was re-blocked four months before that entry was made, wouldn't any user who is automatically unblocked after a decade (the longest temporary block commonly handed out) qualify for this? The longest active block of that kind would be that of 64.88.86.3, blocked on 11 February 2015, which is easily verified.[1] But why would that be worth mentioning? @Renerpho: Hi. When I added that, I had had local blocks specifically in mind (I was not counting changes to global-block settings because these records are specifically for the English Wikipedia). However, your second point makes sense, so perhaps this record should be removed unless a longer block can be found. Unsolved problem:

Vladimir Putin (486,278 bytes). Most of the time, this category is identical to the longest biography overall. We are in the unusual situation where that's not the case.

I've made a change to the list that I hope solves this problem, so that we give either the longest political or non-political biography, depending on what the longest biography is overall. The other one remains hidden in the mean time. Renerpho (talk) 06:42, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Gap between edits to a page

Is there an automated or database-derived list that lists the longest gaps between edits between pages (including redirects and other non-articles)? I recently added an rcat to Brandenburger Tor (a 20 years and 11 months gap), which is a few months below the record (although there are probably a lot more between that and Beato Angelico).
