Dennis Rader?
I note per Talk:Dennis Rader that "Dennis Rader is part of WikiProject Lutheranism..." Are you kidding me? Any bio on anyone who happens to be Lutheran is part of this project? TJRC (talk) 01:12, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- That seems to be the way it has been done, see: Talk:Johannes Kepler, Talk:Leonhard Euler, Talk:Søren Kierkegaard, etc.
- The project scope reads: "This includes articles on famous Lutherans". Do you think we should narrow the scope to Lutherans who did something related to religion? -- Secisek (talk) 00:24, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well, yeah. I would expect the project scope to cover articles that have something do actually do with Lutheranism. But I'm not actually involved in this project, and leave it to your discretion. I thought someone was just pulling your chain by adding the tag to an article about a notorious killer who just happened to be Lutheran, but which has no actual connection to Lutheranism. Coordinators' working group
Hi! I'd like to draw your attention to the new WikiProject coordinators' working group, an effort to bring both official and unofficial WikiProject coordinators together so that the projects can more easily develop consensus and collaborate. This group has been created after discussion regarding possible changes to the A-Class review system, and that may be one of the first things discussed by interested coordinators.
All designated project coordinators are invited to join this working group. If your project hasn't formally designated any editors as coordinators, but you are someone who regularly deals with coordination tasks in the project, please feel free to join as well. — Delievered by §hepBot (Disable) on behalf of the WikiProject coordinators' working group at 05:53, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
This stub article on a Lutheran composer has been nominated for deletion here: Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Regina_Fryxell. Not really my area, but it seems to me that this subject may well have adequate notability, but that the article has been poorly presented and could be saved with a bit of work, if anyone is interested.HeartofaDog (talk) 17:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Discussion regarding project organization
Any comments regarding the structure and function of Christianity related material are welcome at Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/General Forum#Project organization. Be prepared for some rather lengthy comments, though. There is a lot of material to cover there. John Carter (talk) 17:45, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
This is a notice to let you know about Article alerts, a fully-automated subscription-based news delivery system designed to notify WikiProjects and Taskforces when articles are entering Articles for deletion, Requests for comment, Peer review and other workflows (full list). The reports are updated on a daily basis, and provide brief summaries of what happened, with relevant links to discussion or results when possible. A certain degree of customization is available; WikiProjects and Taskforces can choose which workflows to include, have individual reports generated for each workflow, have deletion discussion transcluded on the reports, and so on. An example of a customized report can be found here.
If you are already subscribed to Article Alerts, it is now easier to report bugs and request new features. We are also in the process of implementing a "news system", which would let projects know about ongoing discussions on a wikipedia-wide level, and other things of interest. The developers also note that some subscribing WikiProjects and Taskforces use the display=none
parameter, but forget to give a link to their alert page. Your alert page should be located at "Wikipedia:PROJECT-OR-TASKFORCE-HOMEPAGE/Article alerts". Questions and feedback should be left at Wikipedia talk:Article alerts.

Hello. Is anybody here willing to take the lead on upgrading Martin Luther to GA? I would have done this myself as I have upgraded several articles on Reformation characters, but unfortunately my university library is missing some vital Luther biographies. The article has been in a rather sad state for a long time, but the edit wars appear to be over now, so maybe someone would take up the baton? --RelHistBuff (talk) 08:43, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Requested move: Maundy Thursday to Holy Thursday

Walter A. Maier
I have recently completed an article for Walter A. Maier. I thought someone might wish to move it off of the 'Stub' list. I hope I have observed proper protocol. Mortalresurrection (talk) 01:31, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
Luther
User:Epiphyllumlover has usefully cited the Missouri Synod statement for the following sentence in the Martin Luther article, meeting a long-standing citation request (not mine). Could anyone possibly reinforce this reference with a citation to statements of other denominations? Otherwise this will have to be reworded to refer only to the repudiation by the Missouri Synod. It seems to me essential to have this sentence referring to Lutheranism as a whole.
Since the 1980s, Lutheran Church denominations have repudiated Martin Luther's statements against the Jews and have rejected the use of them to incite hatred against Lutherans.
Cheers. qp10qp (talk) 13:22, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Wikipedians at Talk:Roman Catholic Church are discussing the merits of changing the article name as such.
Roman Catholic Church → Catholic Church. Please share your opinions there. --Carlaude talk 12:02, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
I think that we need to have full list of Martin Lithers works.--Vojvodae please be free to write :) 19:29, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- There once was a page like that. It was merged into the little-known Martin Luther (resources).--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 02:41, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
Christianity coordinators elections
Any parties interested in being one of the coordinators of WikiProject Christianity and its various related projects is encouraged to list themselves as a candidate at Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Coordinators/Election 2. It would be particularly beneficial if we had individuals from as broad a range of areas of the project as possible, to help ensure that we have people knowledgable about the widest range of content possible.
