Bottom Importance

[edit]

@Jj98 and DENAMAX: do we need the "Bottom" importance"? I haven't seen it at other projects and workgroups. It seems like an excess and is inconsistent with other projects. TipsyElephant (talk) 17:59, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing this further, I see that the parent project WP:ANIMATION uses the rating. I think it should be retained for consistency, however, there currently isn't an example listed. I'm not entirely sure what an example would be, but I think we should add one. TipsyElephant (talk) 13:06, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm thinking that we should classify most articles about films and TV series that only contain elements of stop motion as opposed to using stop motion as the primary medium as "Bottom" importance. For instance, most of Category:Films using stop-motion animation would then fall under the "Bottom" importance. TipsyElephant (talk) 14:38, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Importance Examples

[edit]

I think that Brickfilm should be an example of Top importance because it's an entire subtype of Stop Motion. I think the examples for High importance are fine because they are franchises. I think the Mid importance should be individual films or tv shows such as Gumby: The Movie or A Grand Day Out. TipsyElephant (talk) 18:16, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
