As an involved person/admin (I was a part of this Wiki event) I won't accept or decline this request for sure. A note to admin: There are way too many media coverages of this event, please see m:WikiConference India 2016/Press. In my opinion, CSD may not be the right option. --Tito Dutta (talk) 19:52, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think merging it with the main article will be better rather than creating a page of its own Vincentvikram (talk) 04:34, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Here I feel the press coverages indicate the importance of the event. The first Wikiconference India was organised in 2011, the second iteration was conducted this year. There is a main article. Should we have two separate articles -- that's the point to discuss. --Tito Dutta (talk) 05:31, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved it, as it is much more suitable for the Wikipedia project space. If independent references are available then an article could be proved notable. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 13:16, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
