event flyer
[edit]hey, obviously too late for this time but for next time you're on notice that we need an event flyer. (pdf that can be printed as a full or half or quarter sheet of 8.5x11 paper. to post in visible places and occasionally to hand out to people.)
I know people at 2 different relevant, local graduate schools (e.g. landscape architecture) that should be able to post flyers on a bulletin board. Asked Pharos about this last week but no response. See you all tomorrow!! cc Emjackson42 --Jeremyb (talk) 07:57, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
remote attendance and article creation
[edit]I am attending remotely today. Is there a list of new articles in process? I don't want to duplicate effort if someone has already started working on one. I'm doing research for Helga Ochoterena Booth and found a good resource at JSTOR for people who have either identified or verified herbarium specimens. See reference 3 next to her name. - I am trying to add references for the JSTOR search showing herbarium specimens but it seems to be breaking the list of articles to be created. Any ideas why this is happening? Here is the search results for some of the scientists:
- I actually found more citations when I just used her last name. Not all of her references have Booth and some just have H.
- Helga's page is now saved in draft and linked from the list on the NYBG_January 2017 page.
