Meetup reasoning

If you're wondering what the reasoning behind this meetup is, it can be summed up by:

• I missed the last one due to a cold
• Have been waiting for someone to organise the next, but it doesn't seem to have happened
• There's interesting things going on at the moment, in the form of the Wikimania bid, and the reincarnation of Wikimedia UK (can reincarnation happen before the first one dies?)

Date

Works for me. I'm thinking a saturday might be a bit better if people are sleeping on floors, however; if it is a Sunday the floor-owners might have to go to work early the following morning. Ironholds (talk) 07:48, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Actually in Roman times "March" was the first month, not the third. As long as we don't organise it for 15 January we should be fine. Ironholds (talk) 10:17, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Judging by comments here and on the main page, 14th I think would be better, being a Saturday - more trains, can stay out later if necessary. I'll make the change on the page, let's not argue over this for ages before it comes and goes :-) Majorly talk 18:29, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
