Politics
[edit]Most of my contributions are on global governance and politics, politicians and elections in developing democracies - particularly in the Middle East and Africa. This is driven by a personal interest in political science, rather than any particular expertise or interest in a particular region of the world. If you feel that my edits are biased or non-neutral in any way please let me know.
Finance
[edit]I work in financial services and I also contribute in this area. I do not undertake paid editing or edit any articles connected to my employer. Some of my contributions may concern people who have worked at the same company that I have. If you feel that any edits I make are biased, conflicted or otherwise problematic please let me know on my talkpage or through email.
Baha'i Faith
[edit]I was previously a follower of the Baha'i Faith. Although I do now occasionally contribute to the Baha'i pages on wikipedia, I am still largely reticent. Most of the published secondary source information has been produced in by Baha'is themselves or by enemies setting out to discredit the Baha'i Faith. Therefore I think it is impossible to create accurate, fair neutral articles whilst still adhering to the policies on No Original Research.

Idea and layout filched from User:WereSpielChequers who took it from StuffOfInterest, who lifted it fromHarro5, who took it from Salsb, who stole it from Guettarda who borrowed it from White Cat, as seen on Calton's page. |
I have been quoted in three Wikipedia articles:
- Wikimedia UK, which I helped to found and served as trustee, chair, secretary and treasurer
- Manchester City Council election, 2003#Hulme, where I stood for election
- Manchester City Council election, 2004#Hulme, where I stood again, nearly doubling my vote percentage
Useful inspiration
[edit]This stuff is somewhere I can put stuff that could inspire me about contributions I could make to Wikipedia and to help me do stuff
