MLB player teams box question

[edit]

When updating the teams boxes for a player who was recently traded during the MLB offseason, how should I go adding the {{mlby}} template to their teams box? ReallyAmazingDude13 (talk) 21:44, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You don't need to do that until the new season starts and they actually play for the new team. Spanneraol (talk) 22:15, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So wait until the 2025 season, and then add it to their teams box? ReallyAmazingDude13 (talk) 00:39, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not exactly. Teams get added to a player's infobox only once he appears in an official game (not spring training) for his "new" team. Simply being on the roster doesn't count. Dmoore5556 (talk) 01:44, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article F. M. Palacios Field has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced and unimproved 15 years. No relevant and reliable sources online Google (nearby hotels don't count), G news, newspapers, books, or scholar. Run of the mill, very small stadium. Not enough information to merge anywhere.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Team colors infographic bg is urgentlly broken, someone can help?

[edit]

I had posted in the infobox talk page but since it is a VERY urgent matter (as it affects most non-mlb team pages) i feel the need to post it here and communicate to most people possible about this issue

From what i had discoveried, someone unknown few years ago had broken the team color bg sintax of teams infobox, making the config option invisible to the infobox options page and source code, thus making almost impossible to update

I had discoveried it only now beacuse i need to update the Hangwa Eagles to their new orange and black/navy color tones        , first i assumed that the color tab in infographic would auto config the rest, but after noticed it wasnt then i looked everywhere in the page and info box, top-to-down source, nothing had showed, all i had found was a unawnsered post about the issue in 2016 talk about it

Does someone that knows work with infoboxes can fix it ASP? Meganinja202 (talk) 21:13, 18 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
