WikiProject Square Enix
Welcome to the Square Enix WikiProject! We are a group dedicated to creating and improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to Square Enix. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list, or ask one of our participants.

This project is a sub-project of Wikiproject Video games. If you would like to participate, just add your name to the members list below. For more information on WikiProjects, please see Wikipedia:WikiProject and Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Guide.

Scope
[edit]
This WikiProject supports all articles that cover anything that Square, Enix, or Square Enix designed or produced. It does not cover articles related to Square Enix's wholly owned subsidiaries Taito and Eidos, but does include titles in new series developed by Square Enix Europe. While in general it does not cover articles covering items that Square, Enix, or Square Enix only published, by consensus it does include the video games and series Dragon Quest, Star Ocean, and Valkyrie Profile as well as games developed by Armor Project as they are associated with the Square Enix brand. Additional titles or series can be easily added to this project's scope by agreement on the talk page, and all currently covered articles can be seen in this project's index page.

The majority of these articles are video games, but include character biographies, character lists, soundtracks, living people biographies, manga, films, television shows, and more. WikiProject Square Enix attempts to standardize the content and format of data in said articles. In addition, this WikiProject aims to provide editing assistance and support for Square Enix-related articles.

Goals
[edit]

Our main goals are to:

  • ensure that all Square Enix-related articles are clean, organized, well-written, and accessible;
  • improve all Square Enix-related articles to at least good article, featured article, and/or featured list status; and
  • create new articles relating to Square Enix, as long as they are encyclopedic and adhere to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
