06:13, 23 March 2024 review of submission by 49.188.245.179

[edit]

I don't know why I had to send this, but I would just like to ask, that why is my article submission declined? I know it says on my draft, but give me more information. Thanks!

Your writer of the draft, Freelink international 49.188.245.179 (talk) 06:13, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can't help, don't know what draft you're referring to? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:04, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your draft Draft:Freelink International appears to be complete nonsense. Theroadislong (talk) 08:12, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@ALokLauz: seriously, at what point did this look like an encyclopaedia article to you? Wikipedia is not for things made up one day. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:56, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

09:06, 23 March 2024 review of submission by Alon Alush

[edit]

Hello, I'm currently working on the draft "Far-right politics in Israel". It was declined for not having sufficient content for an independent article. I've since expanded it, but I'm unsure about how much content added is enough for a resubmission. I would really appreciate it if someone can look at the draft and give me some advice on how to improve the draft so that it can be resubmitted. Thanks. Alon Alush (talk) 09:06, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Alon Alush: I don't think there is a hard and fast rule; the content must be substantial enough, both in size and notability terms, to justify having a standalone article on the subject, rather than being covered as a section in an existing article. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:15, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think the topic is notable enough, given the recent war, the term “Far-right Israeli government” is talked about a lot. I will try my best to expand the article and make it as good as I can, hopefully it will be approved next time.
Looking at the draft, do you think the main issue is it's size, or are there more issues that need to be addressed? I want to avoid resubmitting the draft after expanding, and then have it rejected for a different reason. @DoubleGrazing Alon Alush (talk) 09:22, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Alon Alush: without doing a full review, I couldn't say, but nothing obvious jumps at me. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:32, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Can you help me take a look and give feedback on Draft:Ollys TV ? Do it look good or it’s still needing adjustments? A85pr (talk) 11:31, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You need to submit it for review. Theroadislong (talk) 11:33, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

15:32, 23 March 2024 review of submission by KANYESTUFF

[edit]

hello, i finished the draft like 5 minutes ago but this damn short description isnt going on correctly and i honestly have no idea why. can you explain what is wrong with the short description (if anything) or is there some explanation for how i didnt format it right? thanks KANYESTUFF (talk) 15:32, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The short description is a very minor issue that isn't relevant to the submission process, which only considers the text and sources. By far a bigger issue is that your references are bare urls; see referencing for beginners. 331dot (talk) 15:36, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

17:05, 23 March 2024 review of submission by Rylee Amelia

[edit]

My article has been denied twice so far due to not having sufficient sources. When my article was rejected the first time, I listened to the feedback. I was more careful with selecting reputable sources, and I added more information on the subject to help further justify the existence of this article. However, the article has been rejected once again. I was hoping to have more detailed advice on how I could fix this article or make better edits moving forward. I'm still somewhat new to Wikipedia, and I don't want to waste anyone's time with repeated submissions if I can easily solve this problem on my own. Rylee Amelia (talk) 17:05, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Rylee Amelia: this draft has been declined (not 'rejected', which is a terminal option) both times for lack of notability, not for insufficient sources per se. Per WP:GNG, we need to see significant coverage of the subject in multiple secondary sources that are both reliable and independent of the subject. Interviews, brief profiles, etc. do not count. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:13, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
