01:25, 22 July 2023 review of submission by Rohmoh

[edit]

Approval Rohmoh (talk) 01:25, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rohmoh The draft has been rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further. Writing about yourself is highly discouraged, please read the autobiography policy. 331dot (talk) 08:39, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

06:18, 22 July 2023 review of submission by Sampierce98

[edit]

to be able to resubmit it after more articles from independent sources wrote info on it. Sampierce98 (talk) 06:18, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The draft was rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further at this time. If something has fundamentally changed since the rejection(such as the film being released to the public) you should first appeal to the reviewer that rejected the draft. If you receive no reply, then you may return here for a discussion to request reconsideration. 331dot (talk) 08:42, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

08:57, 22 July 2023 review of submission by Ahnaf shwapneel

[edit]

Only accept the submission. Ahnaf shwapneel (talk) 08:57, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Ahnaf shwapneel: that's not a question, and this is not a viable article draft. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:09, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

09:13, 22 July 2023 review of submission by Farhanalivectorseek

[edit]

how can i post this post on wikipedia

Farhan Ali (talk) 09:13, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can't it's contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 09:16, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

11:56, 22 July 2023 review of submission by Moiz4532

[edit]

why my article rejected? Moiz4532 (talk) 11:56, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Moiz4532 I fixed your post to provide a link to your draft. It was not rejected, it was declined. "Rejected" has a specific meaning here, that it could not be resubmitted, declined means it may be resubmitted. The reviewer left the reason for the decline on your draft. Do you have a question about it? 331dot (talk) 12:05, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your draft was blank. If you had intended to have text on it, you didn't. 331dot (talk) 12:07, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have revealed the text, which is NOT a potential article and I have tagged it for speedy deletion. Theroadislong (talk) 12:15, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

12:12, 22 July 2023 review of submission by Beemaad

[edit]

The draft got rejected twice even after adding additional external links and sources. I wonder why this is the case since published articles about other puzzle hunt events like Microsoft Puzzle Hunt Post Hunt are, from my point of view, very much comparable to the draft about "enigame" w.r.t. presentation, wording and given citations.

Beemaad (talk) 12:12, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Beemaad We don't need the whole url when you provide a link, simply place the title of the target article/page in double brackets, so that [[Joe Biden]] appears as Joe Biden.
Beware in citing other articles as a reason for yours to exist, see other stuff exists. It could be that these other articles are also inappropriate and you would be unaware of this. As this is a volunteer project where people do what they can when they can, it is possible for inappropriate content to get by us, we can only address what we know about. If you want to use other articles as a model or example, use those classified as good articles, which have been vetted by the community.
You have no independent reliable sources. An article should not merely tell about the subject, it should summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the topic, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability- specifically in this case, a notable event. 331dot (talk) 12:20, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I unfortunately find it hard to see how a report of one of the largest German newspapers (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/S%C3%BCddeutsche_Zeitung) and an official statement of one of the largest German universities (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Technical_University_of_Munich) fail to qualify as independen reliable sources... Beemaad (talk) 13:01, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Beemaad The university that puts on this event is not an independent source about the event. Those citations also seem to only serve to document the occurrence of the event and its structure. They don't offer significant coverage of this event. 331dot (talk) 13:05, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Microsoft Puzzle Hunt is completely unsourced, Post Hunt has similar problems to your draft. 331dot (talk) 12:22, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

14:21, 22 July 2023 review of submission by SLD Aaditya

[edit]

I will request to please don't reject my page and please publish my page SLD Aaditya (talk) 14:21, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

SLD Aaditya Wikipedia is not a place for people to tell the world about themselves. We don't have pages, we have articles, typically written by independent editors unconnected with the topic. Please read the autobiography policy. If you want to tell the world about yourself, you should use social media. 331dot (talk) 14:23, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

17:35, 22 July 2023 review of submission by Referatprednostno

[edit]

I made some improvements of the article Rok Čeferin (draft), based on the comments received last year. Is this new version of the article still considered for publication? Is it going to be published or is it declined? When am I to expect some feedback? Please, let me know. Thanks! Referatprednostno (talk) 17:35, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

17:45, 22 July 2023 review of submission by 84.69.144.154

[edit]

Hi I recently wrote an article on Noncegate and was told that it didn't pass the fundamental principle of Wikipedia. Could you please tell me which principle(s) it broke and I will redraft the submission.

Many thanks

Michael 84.69.144.154 (talk) 17:45, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft was rejected; it cannot be submitted again. Wikipedia is not a news website. Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 17:57, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

20:30, 22 July 2023 review of submission by Amik Siti Amelia

Jika topik cakapnya dihilangkan dari artikel ini, apakah artikelnya bisa di terbitkan? Makasih sebelumnya Amik Siti Amelia (talk) 20:30, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

21:33, 22 July 2023 review of submission by AttieDubh

[edit]

Please could you clarify why this submission has been rejected? Thanks AttieDubh (talk) 21:33, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Specifically, please clarify in what fashion this is against the terms of Wikipedia? I'd be entirely happy to re-state, re-phrase, etc. AttieDubh (talk) 21:37, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft was rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further. It was completely unsourced, and no amount of editing can confer notability on a topic. Wikipedia is not a dictionary. There must be coverage of the use of this term in independent reliable sources in order for it to merit an article. 331dot (talk) 21:47, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
