06:29:19, 7 July 2020 review of submission by Vinodharangi

[edit]

Added some articles from recognized publications to meet notability requirements. Articles are not a brief bursts of news coverage but instead span a duration of almost 2 years and meet the sustained notability guidelines.

Please re-review and let me know if this topic needs more news articles and other noteworthy online publications referring to this topic.

Vinodharangi (talk) 06:29, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vinodharangi The draft has been rejected, meaning it will not be considered further, as in the opinion of the reviewer there is little to no chance it can be improved enough to meet standards. In this case, it appears that the sources do not demonstrate that this person meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable actor, as shown with significant coverage(not brief mentions) in independent reliable sources. 331dot (talk) 07:41, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir,

I would like to inform you that Nepali Patro is one of the most used Nepali Digital Calendar and Brand inside Nepal and around the globe used by more than five million Nepalese people. The fact can be seen by the numbers of app installs and Alexa ranking for the Nepali Patro website. The reviews of different digital media have published various articles about the usefulness and its importance to keep in track of Nepali Dates, Events, and Festivals.

I would be more than happy to include more information for the approval of this article.

Thanking you for your consideration.

Warmest regards. Sudan Bhattarai

Sudan Bhattarai Upadhaya The draft has been rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further. The sources offered do not demonstrate that this app meets the Wikipedia definition of notability. It would need to do more than merely tell of the existence of the app and its features; independent reliable sources need to give the app significant, in depth coverage. 331dot (talk) 07:38, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

07:48:56, 7 July 2020 review of submission by BDwikiAU

[edit]

Hi, My submission has been declined and the reasoning left is perplexing, it was stated that nothing changed apart from the addition of new references. This is false as a whole new section was added with references, as well as edits to previous submitted text. Here is the draft link: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Renown_United In addition, the review keeps linking me to a sports page criteria, however I don't think they understand that this is a club and that club guidelines follow the general settings rather than a person or player. I am trying to emulate this page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Arncliffe_scots which is a similar page that plays in the same competition as the club I am writing about. More effort has been put into what I am doing now and it leads me to not understand how one can be allowed and another cannot. It is simply frustrating to keep making changes based of vague and long winded feedback, and continually get rejected. BDwikiAU (talk) 07:48, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

BDwikiAU, I see the draft has now been rejected. It is generally wise to start by asking the reviewer who came to that decision their reasons. Their details are posted in the rejection notice. Fiddle Faddle 12:31, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
User:BDwikiAU - Did you notice that you were asked to ask for advice either at a discussion forum or on the talk page of any of the declining reviewers? You did not ask for advice, but simply made small changes to the draft and added references and resubmitted? Did you notice that you were asked, after the last decline, to explain on the draft talk page or in the AFC comments how the draft satisfied notability? You say that it is frustrating to receive long winded feedback. Would you rather receive only a decline and no other feedback? (It is also frustrating to the reviewers to see what looks like the same draft over and over again.) You had multiple opportunities to ask for advice. Also, we (the reviewers) were aware that the draft was about a team and not a player. General notability is difficult to satisfy. Most drafts that seek to satisfy it do not satisfy it. If you thought that the team satisfied general notability, it would have been useful to say so in the AFC comments or on the draft talk page (just as we had said). Drafts on teams are seldom considered notable unless the players are considered notable, so you were directed to the guideline for players. The draft was rejected because you were not asking for advice and were not engaging in any sort of dialog. Robert McClenon (talk) 13:32, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations, you found the submit button! Howewer, please only submit serios attempts to AfC. You can find out how to write a serious attempt at WP:YFA. Please be advised that creating a new article is one of the absolute hardest tasks on Wikipedia. Victor Schmidt mobil (talk) 09:04, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

09:25:42, 7 July 2020 review of submission by PresidentN

[edit]

PresidentN (talk) 09:25, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PresidentN, generally one gets the best results by asking a question. Since you did not do so I looked at the draft. You are seeking to create an article that has been deleted after a discussion. Please se Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mohammad Mehdi Nooripour
There has to be a very good reason to create another article about the same person. You are welcome to argue your case, and here is a decent place to make that argument Fiddle Faddle 12:28, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
User:PresidentN - When nine editors have all said that a person does not satisfy biographical notability, no amount of editing will overcome the lack of notability. Robert McClenon (talk) 13:38, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

10:04:32, 7 July 2020 review of draft by Abbas Kwarbai

[edit]

Abbas Kwarbai (talk) 10:04, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please how can I submit my draft for reviewing? I have two pending draft that I want to submit

@Abbas Kwarbai: You've already submitted Draft:Linda Iheme and Draft:Abdullahi Dauda Belel for review and those are now in the queue. I have added a template to your other drafts such as Draft:Khalil Haliru that adds a "submit your draft for review" button which you should click when you think the draft is ready for review. JasbeerPhoghat (talk) 12:11, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

JasbeerPhoghat, generally one gets the best results by asking a question. Since you did not do so I looked at the draft. The rejection reason is "Eight declines is enough. None of the sources show sigcov of the subject. No reason to allow this to clog the review process any further."
I imagine you disagree with that. Please be precise. What do you disagree with and why do you feel it should move forwards? Fiddle Faddle 12:26, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

14:52:34, 7 July 2020 review of draft by Noonpanir

[edit]

Hi, I spelled the name wrong on the Page heading. It should be "Abbasi" not "Abassi". How do I change this please? Also, how do I publish the page please? Is it being reviewed or have I not done it properly?

Noonpanir (talk) 14:52, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Noonpanir: I have renamed the page to Draft:Baran Abbasi for you. If you want the draft to be in the review queue, add {{subst:submit}} to the top of the draft and hit save. If you copy the code from this page, copy it as it appears when reading the page. Victor Schmidt (talk) 16:07, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

21:59:53, 7 July 2020 review of submission by Arjanhalili

[edit]

Dear Help desk! Maybe you can give me some more advice on my draft. I have added some references that are directly related to the stylist, about her personal life, clothing styles for Grammys etc. The sources are from publishers with a very good reputation. Thank you
