Please advise on what revisions are necessary.

Your topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia, you will need to find better sources, for instance Wikia and Amazon are not considered reliable or suitable for establishing notability. Theroadislong (talk) 17:32, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I have created two articles, one for a person, and another for a film, both of which have been properly sourced. They were for the following entries: Wes Phillips and Dune (2020 film) Both articles were then deleted with no explanation. I put a decent amount of work into both and I properly referenced all information. Made an earlier request for aid, but apparently did not format it correctly.

@AUColonist: - hi there. I can't actually see anything in your editing history for writing on a Dune 2020 film article, however the reason will be that Wikipedia almost never creates films that are so far away. This is because they have a history of falling through until principal photography is finished - i.e. until they enter production. As a note, Draft:Dune (2020 film) exists, with various editors working on it - presumably to add it in once that condition is met.
For the Wes Phillips article, I suggest going to talk to the redirecting editor - User talk:Rosguill. While I do an enormous amount of time on article deletion, I usually leave American football notability to those who know whether each team falls into an accepted league.
It would be worth checking if either of the teams he played for qualify him for notability - to qualify for a page he only needs to be notable in one fashion, even if his coaching achievements wouldn't tick the right box. Nosebagbear (talk) 17:22, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'm new on Wikipedia. I have no idea on how to edit this page for resubmission. I'd like to know what makes you define this page as an essay? The structure, lack of reliable sources or something else? Looking forward to a reply! Thanks.

Essays often advocate for something while encyclopedia articles describe the thing. Legacypac (talk) 05:48, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I was able to address the comment in the first submission rejection, which was the article missing sources. I was able to add sources as well as fix the format of the article. Hoping this time the submission will be accepted. Carlostmayers (talk) 04:58, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid your "references" are not reliable. Theroadislong (talk) 17:35, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Rittushiv, what about the reviewer's feedback do you need assistance with? SITH (talk) 18:02, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hey. I'm currently writing the page draft:Buyagift and looking for some feedback. Is there anything you'd suggest to make the article better? And is the layout good, or does it need to be broken down more?

Thanks.
