I am totally new to Wikipedia and just wanted to create a page for my company but had an error "Fails WP:NCOMPANY, lacks any sources or references".

I have looked it up on help but really have no idea what I need to do next. In the meantime I have deleted my page. Any hints would be welcome Syl Search (talk) 06:00, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Syl Search Greetings. I believe Syl Limited was the article you are referred to.First all of it would be conflict of interest for you to write about your company and it is highly not recommended . Secondly, an article need to meet the organisation notability requirements where by the content is supported by independent reliable sources. Hello, I've published an article about Aušra Štukytė, Lithuanian actress, on LT.Wikipedia(https://lt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aušra_Štukytė). Now I have just translated the whole article from Lithuanian to English. It seems kind of bizarre to also include Lithuanian sources to my English language article, but I can't seem to publish it otherwise. What should I do? Could you please just submit it without sources, including a link to the original?

@Kamuoliukas: Hello. The draft has only one source, which is not enough to establish notability (according to the article length). You can add more independent, secondary, and reliable sources in order to get your article published. Verifiability is one of the most important policies in Wikipedia. Hi, the article in my sandbox was just an experiment which I would like to be deleted. I explored around and came across a short code to be pasted on top of the article - will it ensure deletion, or is there something more to be done? Being new, am generally exploring my way about.

Also I do have a draft ready which I would like to put in the sandbox for review as soon as this current excerpt is deleted. Awaiting guidance, thanks,

Hello,

I wrote a draft about the company EOS Group. This article is a condensation and translation of the German article I wrote as well. Both are disclosed paid editing. The article has been online in German Wikipedia since the end of April 18. A first review here has given hints. I tried to consider them. Unfortunately, after these changes, no one has yet looked at whether the article is now ready for the article space. Does anyone want to review the article? That would be fine. Thank you in advance.

Hi, @Atomiccocktail:. Thank you for responding to the comments in the first review. As to the second review, currently there are around 3500 drafts in AfC, which means it can take up to (or even a little over) 2 months to review one.
As a site note, while you've disclosed paid editing on the page, which is good, (usually done in a different format, but I don't think it should affect the review). It is also worth noting it on your userpage. Nosebagbear (talk) 09:59, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I feel that the reviewer that declined the article misunderstood the topic. It was stated in the comment that 'submission is about a company or organization not yet shown to meet notability guidelines', but it is about a notation system that has been the topic of hundreds of research articles. Lanuk.Poddar Hi see HERE as you listed the product and external links of facebook, twitter and Instagram. Article need to meet the notability requirement where by content need to support by independent, reliable sources (RS) such as from major newspaper which talk directly of the subject. Minimum three RS is required and content need to be written in neutral point of view fashion. please read WP:Your First Article and reference for beginner to understand how to write an article and citing source in Wikipedia. Hi, this write-up had notability issues and writing style issues earlier on as pointed out by some editors here, both of which I have now rectified. What I would like to ask is the procedure for getting it reviewed once more. Moreover, is it possible that I delete it here and paste the same in my sandbox to be reviewed under AfC? Do I have to take permission from anyone to shift it to AfC? General info to be noted

  1. Ping user(s) - If you want to communicate with other editors on "your talk page" you need to ping them by adding {{ping|username}} before you start you message and that would be the same if you want to send a message to any editor in all other talk pages (article talk page, WikiProject talk pages, investigation talk pages and etc) except on a specified editor's talk page.

For example, if you want to talk to me on my talk page, you just click new section at the top of the menu bar, give a title of the message and start writing. However, if you want to talk to me on "your" talk page, you need to ping me.

  1. Help needed - If you need help, and not sure who would help, you can (1) leave a message here for article for creation related topic (which mean you have a draft article and need help) (2) you would go to WP:Teahouse for general editing questions (3) go to WP:Helpdesk for general question and (4) leave a message on "your talk page" by typing {{Help me}}. (You left a question on your talk page but you did not specify who this message was for and you didnt not insert {{help me}} tag, and that was the reason no one responds to your qeustion)
  2. Sign off - Pls Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~)..
  1. Submission for reveiw - You dont need to move the article from draft space to your sandbox to get it review. You just need to paste the code {{subst:submit}} to the top of the draft.
  2. External link - Leave only one external links instead of 4/5 - see WP:ELMIN
  3. Paid editor - Pls disclose your conflict of interest on (1) the article talk page and (2) your user page. I have left a link on your talk page, please follow the instruction under WP:PAID.
  4. Wiki links - Pls rework on the on orange texts by click on the text and choose which wiki link as stated. Please see instructions on MOS:LINKSTYLE under MOS:LINKS.
  5. WP:RS - Content need to support by independence, reliable sources which the sources directly talk about the subject in length and in dept and not only merely passing mention. Primary source (not independence) are sources such as from homepage, Facebook, LinkedIn, interview, user generated content sites, affiliated to the subject and etc. More than half of the content on your Draft:Jesse Bogner was not provided with inline citation, pls do that and if no sources could be found that they should not be in the article as they could not be verified.

Hi, as per your instructions, I have -
1 - included disclosure on my user talk page
2 - Checked all links and have ensured that they are working
3 - Removed interviews from the list of references since these are categorized as primary sources. So now there are just 3 references from 3 independent sources.
4 - Am pasting the code on top of my draft to submit it for review once again.
