06:53:46, 2 October 2015 review of submission by Artyom M. Grigoryan

[edit]

What is the reason for the refusal of my article? What should I do to obtain approval?

Artyom M. Grigoryan (talk) 06:53, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Artyom M. Grigoryan: In future, please provide a link to the article so we don't have to go through your contributions. Obviously, you're referring to User:Artyom M. Grigoryan/sandbox/Paired Transform and Fast Fourier Transform. It was declined as it's not a place to republish academic papers, and is an encyclopedia. --  Kethrus |talk to me  08:47, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

how to submit an article and how to email you or submit Manoranjan1996 (talk) 09:42, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Manoranjan1996: You don't email to submit an article, you add {{subst:submit}} to the draft you want to submit, reading WP:AfC and going through the article wizard will help you. --  Kethrus |talk to me  09:45, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Into-Film1 and 41.190.14.196:, what is your question? Did you read the detailed advice left for you at the top of your draft? MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:46, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I am trying to create a page for a company basketball tournament. There are no reliable sources as I am the only reliable source. I am also the organizer of this tournament. How do I go about opening this page without reliable online sources?

@Rafizadehe and 206.190.75.9:, for a topic to have an article you must show it meets the policy WP:Notability. That is, that the subject has been covered by uninvolved, reliable sources like serious news media, academics, etc. You've given zero information in your draft as to when or where this "PAC Basketball Tournament" was, so that makes it hard for us to assess how significant it was. Suffice to say, if this is just a local tournament that doesn't get any media coverage outside its local area, it probably doesn't meet WP:Notability. I strongly advise you read WP:Notability (events) to see what level of coverage you would need to get this draft published. MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:44, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I submitted an article for review. It was suggested to move it to Draft section. How do I perform this task?

Shaine Martin (talk) 17:51, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done @Shaine Martin:, I've fixed it for you. MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:38, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
