Hi I've been having a lot of trouble creating an article: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Spottoon
I've read the pages on how to create articles, the style that should be used to write it and have been in contact with various editors. The last editor that reviewed it said that I need more coverage. But I'm not sure what that exactly means (I've asked that editor as well and am waiting for a reply). If anybody can give me any suggestions on the content or sources I should/have to change in order to make this article better so that it can be published please let me know. I really appreciate your help!
- Syc916 I've just taken a quick look at the draft and immediately noticed that about half your references seem to be about a single issue, the relationship with Huffington Post. If that is the major basis of the subject's notability claim I think it may be a bit weak. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 10:46, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Dodger67Could reviews of the service be included into the article? Also one of the major claims to notability is that Spottoon is one of the only English language webtoon providers but that is not always explicitly stated in articles and that its a company that currently has development deals with film and television producers. Do you have any suggestions on where I should go from here? Thank you again!

Hello Sir
Please let me know why my article is declined.
- There is a very precise comment on your talk page and on the draft. Please confirm that you have read this. Then, if you still do not understand, come back here into this section and ask further questions. Fiddle Faddle 08:54, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

Hey Helpers,
I am writing a page for Thomas Nahimana. He is a political candidate for the upcoming presidential election in Rwanda. I am having a hard time finding reputable sources for Nahimana, since most exist only in French or Kinyarwanda. However, I believe I do have some. I'm wondering if someone could take a look at this article and tell me if I need more sources or not. I can't get sources verifying where he went to school, since there's nothing published about that. In that case, should I simply delete this information?
Please let me know! I'm confused. This is my first time wikipedia-ing.
Nicole

- @Cnd2015: Sources in other language are accepted (though English is the preferred language). As long as they're reliable (see WP:IRS for identifying reliable sources). -- Kethrus |talk to me 14:36, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hello @Cnd2015:, you would definitely to add some more sources. I would suggest that you add any sources showing that he is the final-choice selected candidate for the Ishema Party in the presidential run, and then establish some basic facts about him based on media coverage. Any fact that you cannot clearly reference, you must remove, since we must be sure that we are not stating unproven assertions about him. Again, the sources may be in any language, so don't overlook French or Kinyarwanda newspapers provided they are reputable, serious papers.
- I would note as a point, we don't have any article about the Ishema Party, so after this article is published you may want to write an article on that party, unless that party is only famous for Nahimana and nothing else (has no fame of its own independent of him).
- I would note that the French paper La Croix has an article mentioning accusations of genocide, so if there are controversies about him, it is imperative that those be included in the article so it is not biased by omission: http://www.la-croix.com/Religion/Actualite/Un-pretre-rwandais-accuse-de-genocide-2014-04-14-1136056
- There appears to be at least one book I can see part of on GoogleBooks that mentions him too, so generally I would advise that you look around Google, GoogleNews, and GoogleBooks, find any serious and reputable articles that discuss him, and place links to those news articles at the bottom of your draft (for the moment). Then you can step-by-step include a fact from an article, add that fact to your draft, cite it to the source with a footnote as you have done for your first source, and move to the next fact. That way it will be crystal clear which facts come from what evidence.
- This should be an interesting article, looking forward to it! MatthewVanitas (talk) 15:07, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hello @MatthewVanitas: thank you for your help. I am looking into it!
- regarding: Ishema Party - On the other hand, a candidate from a party that is not notable is unlikely to be notable as a political candidate. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 17:13, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- In many cases you're correct, but in a case where a minor party largely serves as a vehicle for a specific candidate who is themself notable due to media/academic coverage (which may be the case here), I could see the person meriting an article while the party's name just gets a redirect to the politician's article. I do think Nicole has a good case for an article here based on the bits of coverage I found, so let's she what can add to the draft in terms of reliable sources.
