Hi Wiki,
As I expressed,my start in wiki got some troubles and hope that my questions will not bother you. As I read in wikipedia, I can edit the article of other authors. Hence I cliked "Edit" button at the very top of Visa policy of Vietnam article (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Visa_policy_of_Vietnam). I edited and saved the change successfully, and the screen showed the articles with my additional information. However after I reload the link to make sure that I have edited successfully, my editing disappeared. Please explain my case and show me how can I edit the article of other authors. - @Becki.dang: Your edit [1] was reverted shortly afterwards by Materialscientist with an edit summary of "unsourced personal opinion". I'm not surprised you were confused as you did appear to add a source in your edit, though not necessarily appropriate ones for that article. I've pinged Materialscientist so he can offer a fuller explanation here, but I think the revert is probably appropriate as your text documents what you think is the best way to get a visa for travelling in Vietnam, not what is the well-documented procedure for everybody. There's a similar problem with your draft, User:Becki.dang/sandbox/My great trip exploring the Northern Vietnam. I think that is unsuitable for Wikipedia and belongs on a blog somewhere. Please give me an example of a "notability" reference for a small county park - created as a result of a massive cut for a highway - used as a family oriented free scenic, recreational facility. - The Wikipedia article Postman's Park is a Featured Article about a 0.67 acres (0.27 ha) park. That topic has the advantage of having rather more history behind it, and you wouldn't need that weight of references in order for an article to be accepted, but it gives examples of the types of sources that can be used. I am requesting assistance because my draft was declined. The draft that I am attempting to submit is information about my advisor Karen Cerulo. I have looked at pages for other sociologists in our department, "Eviatar Zerubavel" for example, and there pages also seem to lack the sources being requested of me. Is there a different way to submit biographical information? Are there different standards?

- @Vi Gonzo: Wikipedia is monitored by volunteers, so some bad articles tend to slip through the cracks. If we let these bad articles be the standard by which all future articles are judged, the quality of articles would quickly decline. Therefore, the "What about this other article?" argument doesn't carry much weight here. Instead, try comparing your article to articles which have been ranked as Good academic biography articles or Featured academic biography articles. The Zerubavel article is a bit of a special case -- although the article lacks sources, the subject meets WP:NACADEMIC because of their Guggenheim Fellowship, and the article was created in 2006 when the standards for citing sources in biographies were much lower. --Ahecht (TALK

- You appear to have put the references in the edit summary, not in the Draft. Also I'm not sure those references are specific enough to be verifiable... you should consider adding things like the name of the author, the page number in the publication that the piece appeared on, and the title of the piece. I am needing help as to how my article was rejected (it is completely neutral... the User Winner42 refers to heartbreaking stories in my descriptive nature of the language, but there really is absolutely no room to voice this foundation. I would like to know how I can resubmit for creation and get it approved no matter what the administrator/editors may say. It is 100% neutral.

- @Clemendove99: Another reviewer might want to chime in here with more details, but I've done a bit of copyediting and tagging on the article. The draft is currently submitted for review, so an AfC reviewer should be along in the coming days or weeks to take another look. If the draft is not accepted this time, fear not. - Apologies if that came across as a bit harsh, that wasn't my intent. Sometimes when people have a positive opinion of a topic, words to watch may creep in to their articles.
