00:36:49, 14 May 2015 review of submission by Donovan delaney

[edit]

My The Corpse Bride Video Game pag was just deleted! It was deleted by ToonLusas22! I'm not going to right it again. I wan't it back on here. I wan't it undeleted. Could you help me get it back? Donovan delaney (talk) 00:36, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Donovan delaney: Your draft is still here at User:Donovan delaney/sandbox/The Corpse Bride Video Game.. When you submitted it for review, it was declined along with some suggestions on how to improve the draft. Take a look at the reviewer's suggestions (and I'd also suggest reviewing WP:NOTPLOT and WP:OR). /wia /talk 00:57, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I recently submitted an article and I was just wondering if it may have submitted twice since I first clicked the green "submit draft for review" and then read that I had to put a template ({{AFC submission|||ts=20150514024243|u=ILikeGreenBikes|ns=4}}) and placed such at the beginning. I now have two yellow templates telling me about my submission, and I'm just hoping I haven't submitted an article twice in case that's bad for some reason.

I'm regularly updating the article and making adjustments to maximize neutrality as well as descriptiveness.

ILikeGreenBikes (talk) 02:42, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you had an extra submission template. I don't think that this would have caused any problems, but I removed one of them for you. Calliopejen1 (talk) 03:29, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Calliopejen1: You're correct that the two templates don't cause problems, and any duplicate ones are easily removed by using the "Clean Submission" function of WP:AFCH. --Ahecht (TALK

02:58:06, 14 May 2015 review of draft by Colecream

[edit]

Only a little bit of my article is being showed. Why is this? Colecream (talk) 02:58, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It was because of the paragraph/tab indentations you included. I fixed it for you, but note that your draft will likely be deleted as nonsense. I'd recommend having a look around and seeing if there's a way you can contribute constructively. Calliopejen1 (talk) 03:28, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi,I am a new author to wikipedia and my area of interests are supporting independent artist in India and now recently there is a young artist living in chennai,India.who is very famous amoung the college and school age teenagers. He is noted by many tamil film industry legends and even worked projects with them,The page i wrote is been declined can any author and reviewers help me out with my page.

Joshuaink32 (talk) 12:04, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Joshuaink32: You need to show that he is notable by providing citations to significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article. Please click on all the links in that previous sentence for precise definitions of what those terms mean on Wikipedia. Places that sell his music and videos of him are not independent and social networks and blogs are not reliable sources. --Ahecht (TALK

Relativistic Global Non-Inertial Reference Frames

[edit]

An article with this title was submitted in June of last year. It was rejected because of copyright concerns. The article is encylopedic in that it refers to materials published in peer reviewed journals. There appears already in Wikipedia articles titled "Non-inertial reference frame " And Inertial Frame of Reference" The article that we wish to resubmit differs from these in that includes effects of the special theory of relativity. The article that we wish to resubmit is a shortened and less technical version of an article that I (Horace Crater) and my co-author (Luca Lusanna) have published in the International Journal of Geometrical Methods of Modern Physics. The preprint version of this paper is arxiv # 1405.3257. Obviously since we are both authors of our soon to be submitted article to Wikipedia and the peer-reviewed published paper there will be considerable overlap. If necessary we can obtain permission from the Journal editor for the sometimes verbatim parts of our soon to be submitted article. We therefore wish guidance on the best way to proceed. Should we submit the Wikipedia article and wait for its likely decline due to significant overlap with our previously published paper or should we first asked the editor for permission to use parts of our published paper in our Wikipedia submission? Thank you for your help. Horace CraterHcrater (talk) 15:42, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Hcrater: Please see WP:Donating copyrighted materials. When your article was published, you transferred the copyright to World Scientific Publishing Company. You would need to provide evidence that they have released the article under a compatible license such as the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY or CC-BY-SA). Most likely, this would entail the editor emailing the Declaration of consent for all enquiries to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Once they have done that you can put the {{OTRS pending}} template on your draft and submit it. --Ahecht (TALK

Julia Boyd (talk) 18:57, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I made a mistake. The article "David Wallace (Executive)" should be more accurately entitled "David Wallace (Market Researcher)". How do I correct this?Julia Boyd (talk) 18:57, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Julia. This was answered about an hour after the previous time that you asked it. The answer is now archived at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk/Archives/2015 May 2, please take a look there. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 07:55, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
